We recognize the generosity of caring corporations through our Corporate Leaders Awards Program. Awards are given based on your total annual corporate gift to the United Way of Thunder Bay through monetary donations, gift-in-kind and sponsorships.
Ways to become a Corporate Leader:
Under the management and guidance of a professional fundraiser, Sponsored Employees play a crucial role in supporting and inspiring more than 200 workplace campaigns across the region. Sponsored Employees also benefit from a unique professional development experience and bring increased community knowledge and a better understanding of corporate social responsibility when they return to your workplace.
Employees are seconded for 15 weeks from September to December. A seconded employee’s salary and benefits continue to be paid by their employer. Day-to-day management is the responsibility of United Way.
Provide financial support
A financial gift of $15,000 gives United Way the flexibility to hire an individual with specific skills to support our fundraising efforts.
