Help the most vulnerable as our
community responds to COVID-19 together.
Many local people could not, and cannot, afford to prepare for how COVID-19 is affecting their lives. The United Way of Thunder Bay has partnered with the Thunder Bay Community Foundation to establish a COVID-19 Community Relief Fund. The fund provides emergency relief to front-line agencies and partners to help ensure that people’s basic needs are met during this unprecedented public health challenge.
Your donation stays 100% local, always.
Emergency Community Support Fund
United Way of Thunder Bay in collaboration with the Thunder Bay Community Foundation are now accepting applications for the Emergency Community Support Fund to help charities and non-profit organizations serve and support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding has been made available by the Government of Canada and funding streams are being administered by United Way Centraide Canada, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross in communities from coast to coast to coast. United Way of Thunder Bay is proud to support this important investment by the Federal Government and to partner once again with the Thunder Bay Community Foundation to administer the fund in Northwestern Ontario.
