Everyone should be able to protect themselves, their communities & help flatten the curve.
We believe everyone deserves fair access to masks, but many don’t have the means to purchase cloth masks for themselves or their families.
To help everyone follow the indoor mask bylaw, no matter their circumstances, we’re getting masks into the hands of people in our community who would have difficulty washing, purchasing or making their own masks.
This initiative provides workplaces, families, and other groups with a way to purchase masks for themselves, while, at the same time, helping provide masks for vulnerable people in our communities.
For many, getting masks isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Those who face homelessness can’t always clean or store them safely, meaning they would need disposable masks. For some, especially isolated seniors, buying online isn’t possible. The options and requirements can feel overwhelming—most don’t even know where to start.
In collaboration with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit and with support from the City of Thunder of Bay and the Thunder Bay Community Foundation, a supply of disposable masks and reusable cloth masks are available free of charge to those in need.
Buy and Support!
We’re inviting the community to help make a difference. You can buy cloth masks for your workplace, your family, or other groups. Proceeds from your purchase will provide masks to those most in need.
Masks are available in Adult and Child/Youth sizes, in English and French.
Individual masks are $14.99 and may be purchased through our retail partner Ungalli Clothing Co.
