This annual event, presented by Sarjeant Propane takes place on July 10^th, in support of the following collaborating community partners: United Way of Thunder Bay, RFDA, Dew Drop Inn and Roots Community Food Centre.

The BBQ is open to the public for pre-orders online or walk-up and order on the spot. Menu items can include: regular burgers, bison burgers, hotdogs, DDI’s dewey dogs, French fries as well as veggie burger options. Hand pies cooked in the Roots stone oven as well as their specialty lemonade will be available.

The Dunk Tank is back for another year but with a new twist. Five “Dunkees” have agreed to the “Dunk Tank Challenge” and hope to raise $2,000 each before considering being dunked. View here for the “Dunkees” and their total raised to date.

There will also be a grand prize of a BBQ with meat package being raffled. A Pay-It-Forward option is also provided in support of Isthmus Thunder Bay Chapter.

Anyone interested in purchasing CommUNITY BBQ Raffle tickets can visit any of the collaborating partners’ offices: United Way of Thunder Bay, 1085 Carrick Street, RFDA, 570 Syndicate Avenue South, Roots Community Centre, 450 Fort William Road, Dew Drop Inn, 294 Red River Road. Tickets will also be available the Have BBQ Will Travel bbqs on June 25th at the Port Arthur Chiropractic Centre, 500 river Street as well as certain grocery stores and the Country Market.
